La Suerte de Arrayán

Young or unbalanced?

This wine was highly valued by Ferran Centelles (the Spanish expert at Jancis Robinson webpage) and I had high expectations. The first day, after decanting it for an hour, it was almost undrinkable —the alcohol overwhelmed everything else. I had cooled it a bit, which was a mistake because, as it warmed, it become better; you could smell the subtle, floral aromas of the Garnacha from Gredos, and the prickliness subsided. The alcohol was still noticeable, though. But the second day it improved substantially, the alcohol seemed better integrated and aromas and flavours settled. Erratic but good.

Una garnacha jugosa

La Suerte de Arrayán 2015 encierra una garnacha bien jugosa. Fruta roja, refrescante, equilibrado en todo. Un gran vino por el precio que tiene!

Buena relación calidad-precio

Vino muy gustoso, con retropaladar carnoso y taninos bastante equilibrados. Ideal para tomar solo ó con queso. No se lo pierdan.

Agradable sorpresa

Perfumes intensos, madera de cedro o pino con cierta amargura final. También notas ahumadas.
