Cims de Porrera Clàssic

A reference Carignan varietal

Since I first came across Cims de Porrera Clàssic, this has been my reference for the Carignan variety (Cariñena, Samsó, or whichever of the innumerable synonyms you prefer...). It is a rich, bold, and assertive wine with great strength and a good acidity that will assure a long life in bottle. I recommend it for anyone who wants to understand what this variety does in blends (this is how I got my head around this question) or to get an essential Priorat wine. Highly recommended!
